What kind of cd's and dvd's are you trying to burn? If you are trying to make 
audio cd's, just use iTunes. For data dvd's and cd's you can use the finder. 
Just paste anything you need into the cd or dvd burn folder and press the burn 
button. Let me know if you need any help.
