Hi,

What is WebKit, why do I want it and where would I get it?

I'm also using Safari 4 and have noticed that mail is acting a bit differently. The worst issue seems to be that when I close or delete a message, I get dropped into some random spot in the messages table but this doesn't happen all of the time but often enough to be really annoying.

Also, itunes 8.1 seems to be demonstrating some peculiar focus issues but I cannot say if they started before or after I put on Safari 4. Also, on iTunes 8.1, what does LCD stand for? I will guess that the CD is compact disk but what is the L supposed to mean?

What seems to happen is that, when composing a message, you sometimes can't use the arrows on the Inverted-T to arrow through lines and characters and hear the computer speak the text the pointer is landing on. Only workaround seems to be Command-Tabbing out to another application, then Command-Tabbing back to mail, then going to the top of the message and using VO-Shift-Right Arrow to read the text, character by character (only need to read 2 or 3), then using the Inverted-T seems to work normally, as before."

Ron,

I have an issue similar to this from time to time and had it before safari 4 and before I started using web kit. It usually happens if i move away from my composition window and then move back. I can fix this in one of two ways and the latter works every time. the first way is to click zoom in the window menu. the second way is to use vo to read part of the composition and then I can use regular arrows to work with it.
