If vo was travelling from the earbud speaker into the mic, then all the other
sound/voices from the earbud would also be heard along with vo, unless it was
the system mic you were using rather then the headset, can't quite work this
out as it stopped after changing headsets. Was the vo level being heard quiet
or loud ?

Okey dokey, something showed up today in a Zoom conference call, suddenly
everyone could hear my Voiceover text coming over the call. I was on my Mac,
using a headsetwith an in-line mic, like a wired IPhone headset, but with a
standard plug. I switched to a headset without micand that made the problem
audio stop. Apparently it was clearly coming through the computer, not that
my headphone was too close to the mic or anything physical…I originally only
had one earbud in and the other was a few inches away from the mic, but that
wasn’t it. I’ll use a work around of doing the Zoom call through my phone
tomorrow, but I’m curious as to what might be happening here.
