I think you have clicked on 'get info' command I.
Rather, go to the menu bar in any app and the first column is 'Apple' and the
first item in that colume is 'about this mac', click on that and you should get
the RAM information and more.
The storage you have used is okay but it is said not to use more than 75% of
total capacity.
If you only have 2GB RAM this may be causing a slowing and you might check if
you can increase it.

Open and then close voiceover utility. This may trigger a refresh.
Close down your mac and fully detach the power supply, that is, take the
power cord out of the wall for 30 seconds.
Are you running a lot of Apps at thre same time, close them and see if
there is an improvement.
