[macvoiceover] VO+F8 Not Working

Hi,
I hit VO+F8 so I could start changing some settings as I settle into
SL. The keystroke did nothing at all. I double checked that I was
indeed on F8 and surely I was. I started Keyboard help which
announced something for F5 and F6 but then went silent on F7 and F8
with VO. I use an external USB keyboard from Apple as I like the
numpad on it. I'm puzzled as to why I can't get the VO+F7 and F8 to
work.
