As in, modify all of the Jaws commands to use those? Or is there a global place
where you can change the modifier for all commands at once?

If I must redefine every key in the laptop keyboard layout, I'll pass. My
desire to use Jaws doesn't burn that deeply. lol

you can also modify the keyboard commands to use the alt and grave -accent keys
as modifiers. that's what i did, and it worked really well.

I hear that version 3 is coming out. Anyone know if the VMWare people plan to
fix the problem where the Mac's capslock key won't be passed through correctly
to Windows?

when I tried V2, I could tap the capslock key to turn on caps in Windows, but I
couldn't hold down the capslock key in combination with other keys.
Since Jaws uses the capslock key as its modifier on the laptop keyboard layout,
this pretty much blocked me from using Jaws in VMWare on my MacBook Pro without
an external keyboard (yuck).
