ok, If it is experiences you want, here are mine:

1> the ipad is uncomfortably large both in realestate and screen size for *my*
needs. (that's not to say I won't buy one <giggle>
2> It takes much longer and is much arder to get used to and use the ipad than
it does the iphone and the ipod touch both of which I have had since they have
been in the current generation.

3> I'm glad I will be able to use any bluetooth keyboard with it because the
keyboard doc connector is unstable.

4> it is sad that you cannot use the ipad entirely from the external keyboard
for this punches holes in productivity

I've got more to say but I'll end by saying that despite its shortcomings, I
love the ipad. It's a revolutionary device!

Hi Keith, thanks for the link, I've already been there, as well as the Apple
site for accessibility. There's some good information there, but other's
experiences can be of great help.

Hi Terry,

I do not have an iPad, however I have an iPhone and I find the onscreen
keyboard quite usable. The iPhone and the iPad are much the same thing, with
the iPad being larger. When your finger runs across an icon the name of the
icon is spoken and dropping another finger anywhere on the screen will open the
app.
