yes, the control and alt are control and option so I was wondering about 
this.  I can seee the point though because they are not adjacent to one 
another as they are on the Mac keyboards.

I use a standard Windows keyboard all the time on one of my machines.
The only thing I can't do with it is Volume Up or Down, and Eject;
otherwise, all other functions work well.  Richie Gardenhire,
