Well, yes, you are prompted to do the cmd-g command when vmware fusion brings up Windows; this is standard and necessary. As for returning to Macos, you don't need to do that keystroke if you are cmd-tabbing to another Mac window or to do the vo menus while in Windows. Also be aware of the passthrough which is vokeys-tab; this allows you to do a key combination that involves the ctrl-option keys (ctrl-alt).
