I use VLC for my movie .mov files with no problem.

?

I've tried using VLC with DVD's with absolutely no luck. I'm using the latest
OS Snow Lion. I can load the disk but can't play files nor move from one to the
next.
If someone could provide step-by-step instructions, I'd be grateful.
