Thanks Keith, it is pretty exciting, especially how much quicker it is, plus it
weighs noticeably less than the 2008 iMac.
When I ordered the keyboard and mouse I thought it was going to be a full
keyboard with numeric keypad but is only an upgrade to my bluetooth keyboard,
so have plugged in my usb full keyboard which also gives me two conveniently
located usb ports avoiding always having to reach behind the screen to insert
a memory stick or backup drive.

Very quiet list lately, just got my new iMac with Sierra and Siri.
Siri is quick to launch an app and I am going to see how much it may help me
from the accessibility perspective. In this regard have any of you
discovered interesting ways to use Siri that assists a Blind user ?

p.s. after some trepidation I plunged into starting up my new machine and it
was not too difficult.>
