Using vokeys is a problem, though I don't know if the passthrough vokeys-tab would allow you to do it; probably not worth it anyway since there are other combinations to be used. However, I never tried to use vokeys and I've experienced the same difficulty that Mark is having and then finally the key combination would go into the field. If you don't solve this, I'll eventually go into spark and create something just so I can see if I can recreate the problem and solution.
