Actually I just remembered there's a better way to do this. If you just want to know how much space you have left on a disk, you can simply open a finder window for any folder on that disk (opening Macintosh hd on your desktop would work, or your home folder, or anything on that disk), and just vo right arrow to the right of the icon view, or whatever view you are using, and it will tell you how many items you have on that folder, how many are selected, and how much space you have left on that disk.

Hope it helps!

Not really a basic question <smile> but it has already been answered.

Hi folks,

Not sure if my first time message arrived, as there were no responses.

A basic question - how do I find out the remaining space on my internal or external drives, please? Thanks in advance.
