Hi Dave
There are two keystrokes to do this, option+delete will delete the word to the left of the cursor, while option+forward-delete will delete the word to the right. Note that, in the Apple world, backspace is called delete, and what PC users call delete is known as forward- delete. So, in PC terms, option+backspace deletes the word to the left of the cursor, etc. Just wanted to clarify that.

Is there a single "delete word" keystroke one can use while editing and reading text? Thus far, I've found nothing in either the VO help or the help for TextEdit.

Thanks,
