Hi Amanda,

That is really a hard question.  I upgraded when Lion first came out because I 
wanted to help others to learn Lion.

Some of the new voices are nice, but, they still have a bug or 2 and Alex was 
working quite well for me.  If you like bells and whistles, Lion has a few more 
than SnowLeopard, but, I am just a get in and getter done kind of guy, so, I 
can live with out those kind of things.

If SL is working for you don't be in a hurry.

Two of our office computers has Lion, 2 have SL, 1 Leopard and 1 Tiger.  I use 
them all, but, with change comes a time of learning.

Think about it, but, like I said, don't be in a hurry.
