I first navigate to the link of the podcast,
Then press vo+command+f5 to move the voiceover curser to the link.
Then i do either one of to things, first i would press and hold control and physically click the mouse button. Then down arrow to the "save linked file" and press return. Likewise you can just hold the option key when you click the mouse and it should just start downloading.
