[macvoiceover] Safari cannot load googlegroups list page

Hello, everyone,
When I access googlegroups.com and sign into my account and access one of my
groups, voiceover speaks "html content" repeatedly and rapidly and the page
does not load. I've tried turning vo off and on, tried reload, tried reload
with vo off and turning it back on again, repairing permissions, reinstalling
the os, clearing safari cache, resetting vo, restoring the vo prefs, even
changing the browser in the develop menu, and I may have left something else
out....
Has anyone experienced this? If so, have you found a solution?
