Jim, there is no better email client but if you haven't already, you might consider dropping a note to accessibility and asking for a configuration option.

I'm not sure what has to do with what. there is no insertion point as such, because you cannot edit a message you are viewing.

As I recall, in Lepoard, there was no insertion pointer upon opening a mail message. So, you could not navigate line by line with arrow keys, but also, the reading of messages was seemless with no pauses. With Snow Lepoard, whether in full screen or in the preview pane, you can manipulate text in a mail message with arrow keys, but this seems to have the side effect of creating pauses at the end of each line, no matter which reading commands are used. I realize that this may be insignificant to some, but when reading lengthy messages, such as news articles, it is quite different than reading web content, which reads flawlessly and smoothly.

There may be no way of changing this behavior, perhaps there is a Snow Lepoard compatible alternative mail program?

I'm not upset by them either but they could be a bit shorter sometimes.

they are subtle but noticeable. personally they don't bother me in the slightest and it makes sense where there is a line break to pause speech. makes reading poetry much nicer. just my opinion though. people have to pause when reading a new line right?

Unless the pauses are fextremely short and going right over my head, I'm not getting the pauses everyone is referring to.

I have the preview pane closed. When I hit eter on a message, it only auto reads the first line.

turn off the preview payne and use enter to open your messages. if they don't auto read, we can fix that.

Hi to the list.
I am amazed at how efficient moving from the messages table to the text of messages works, it is lightning fast.

It seems like VO pauses at the end of each line of the message, creating an unnatural reading experience.
Any way to change this behavior?
Thanks.
