OK, David, as basicly I'm trying to use Skype, but I'm gonna need my voice to come through my ear phones whe3n I talk so I can hear myself.

to get to record volume, open system preferences, sound, audio input and
there it is.

The app controls whether or not you can monitor.

Subject: [macvoiceover] Recording volume control

SunflowerUsing Tiger, I understand perfectly that if I hit vo+m I'll land on
the apple menu, doing this again, will take me to the first of the status
menus. I also understand that the volume control should be in there,
however, that is for listenning. ok, so, say I am recording something
though, with my mike, and it's too loud, or too soft. How does one turn up
and down the recording level instead of the playback level. Basicly, in
other words I'm wanting to get at the input level, not the output level.
The final thing is, being I'm gonna have a headset, is there a way I can
monitor input. In other words is there a way I can unmute the mike so I can
hear it through my speakers in real time either while or even while not
recording. otherwise the headset I'll be using is so noise cancelling, odds
I'll hear myself well are very slim and thus it'll make it real difficult
for me to talk with the head phones on.

Thank you.

Chris.
