Yesterday I bought vuescan so I wouldn't have the watermark. Then I went back and found the link to the readiris pro 11.5 demo (the actual downloadable trial not the flash demos you get when you try to get a trial). I have vuescan and readiris working together. I'm not sure if it's quite as good as Abbyy as I haven't tried a book yet but it gave me the information I needed with the mail I scanned and the combination works very easily. I do have a couple of questions and comments.

1. On the website (irislink), I see readiris pro corporate edition, which I've decided is a bit too expensive for now. But for the less expensive readiris pro edition, it says "Mac upgrade"; I don't see any other option. I'm pretty sure this is the right package but just wanted to check; this is the actual full program and not a way to upgrade from an older version, right?

2. Is there a link to use to find the $59 deal if it's still valid?

3. I'm hoping they don't come out with version 12 right after I buy this; version 12 is already the current Windows version. Not expecting any response to this one; just a comment.

4. Vuescan apparently has a new version out. I noticed that (1) I'm not getting a reminder dialog for using cmd-g when I do multipage, and I'm not being asked by readiris how many pages to import--all pages are being imported. Just thought I'd mention this since these points differ from the ocr guide on www.icanworkthisthing.com.
