Hi Haiden, You also have to enable the keyboard commander in the commanders section of VO utility.

Greetings,
I've just been puzzling a little anomaly that's cropped up here in my install of Snowleopard. In the review posted here http://www.lioncourt.com/reviews/mac-os-x-10-6-snow-leopard-with-voiceover it indicates that if selecting to allow VO to be controlled by applescript in the general pane of the preferences, a set of default functions is loaded, one of which is option-T to read the date and time. A function which after checking the option in the voiceover utility does not announce at all for me. Any troubleshooting ideas as to why this might be?
Cheers,
Hayden
