Hi Maria,
After the most recent update to voice dream reader, I started getting those
messages about iCloud not being available as well. It was to say the least,
irritating. My iPhone has since died, thank you Apple, so I am currently only
using an iPad, where cloud sync is turned off. Voice dream reader seems to be
working much better on my iPad with cloud sync not enabled. I basically have
decided it is an Great idea that was badly implemented and continues to be so.
Having lost libraries twice now with this iCloud sink, I have definitely given
up on it. It's too bad, because since the regular method of backing up and
restoring voice dream is less than intuitive, this should've been a great
solution. Amazon does it. iBooks does it. But voice dream is a mess in that
regard in my experience.

HI.
i’m having some issues with voice dream reader.
I am running a 6 s with the latest iOS update.
Sometimes when I launch voice dream reader, I get a message saying that
iCloud isn’t available. Not sure if this is a connection issue. Nothing
will play after dismissing the message, until I reboot my phone.
The more annoying problem though, is this.
I have an audio book which has 4 parts to it. Each part is about 4 hours
long. I’m fine if I play the file straight through, but about an hour before
a part of the book is about to end, , If I try to rewind or fast forward I
end up at odd places in the book. It’s almost like at certain parts of the
file, the rewind and fast forward act like I’m skipping by an hour or
something. If I skip forward too far, I end up at the next part of the book.
It also doesn’t tend to keep my place when it’s at , the particular spot
where i’m having problems. I really love this app, but have had to resort to
using downcast, as if the book is paused at problem spots, it jumps back or
forward to the next part, and it’s impossible to rewind or forward to find
where I was up to. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced these
issues with audio books, before I write to the developer.
thanks
Maria
