Hello!
I suggest to start from 0 in a pages document, and then to export it to word. 
Be aware that you need to use compatible fonts and formats for the word 
document to look exactly as you wish. Times new roman is a good option for 
example. Also, use a blank template, and then add your own things there, like 
the charts.
To place a margen on something, you need first to put it for the whole document 
in the inspector, and then, when you create the 2 column chart, you go to 
Arrange, and ensure that it is at the same distance from the edge that the 
original margen.
If you want, write off list and I can share some tricks for that specific part.
