First of all, I never noticed whether sweet midi player was tried
and found helpful or
not; did I miss a post about this? I did spend some time searching for
this and will be happy to search some more when I have time if my
suggestion didn't help.

Secondly, my comments about google weren't personally intended nor meant
as some great discussion of google; I was simply sympathizing with the
fact that such a search, while often very helpful, can have frustrating
aspects at times. Google is my friend, but even my best friends can drive
me crazy sometimes--*grin!!!*

third, it seems to me that if two people on this list have a
misunderstanding with each other, it might be better to address each other
privately and try to iron things out or maybe one of the persons might
just decide to ignore or forgive the apparent offense and quietly move on
to other topics. None of us is perfect, and I think we should be careful
to refrain from personal remarks about each other onlist. Certainly
inappropriate list behavior might have to be addressed onlist, but if it's
a matter of our own personal irritations with each other maybe we should
consider discussing them out of the public eye. I am grateful for the
friends I have who kindly and mercifully overlook my many faults at times
or at
least confront me privately rather than taking me to task before others.
