[macvoiceover] OCR and Scanning using a multi function

Listers I would like to know what OCR scanning packages you all are using with
success when a multi function scanner is being used. I have a new HP Photo
Smart scanner, printer, copier combo and VU Scan doesn't recognize it. I wonder
for OCR, Scanning and general functionality what people on this list is using.
Any help is appreciated.
