I get a good 30 hours or so, maybe a bit more.

Also please keep in mind that even without the noise cancelation they block out 
sound, turning it on just makes it even more noticeable.

Please keep us updated on your decision; I am interested.  I believe the 300's 
around around 99 dollars but I paid 75 when they were on sale at tiger direct.
