Hi, Wendy, and welcome!
I've had my macbook aluminum 13-inch since the beginning of March, and I love love love it. I've not looked back once. It will certainly meet your needs, as I had the same ones and my mac has been perfect for those and so much more. I am still amazed almost daily at the things I can do with this marvelous computer.
All I can add is, you go girl! Marcy

Hi all,
I'm new to the list and am thinking of buying a mac computer. I mainly want to use the mac for email and getting on the internet and also some word processing. Any suggestions on what to buy for my needs? At this point I don't want a desktop, but was thinking of a notebook. Does mac make a netbook?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Wendy
