Neil,
I have this issue with all of my devices and it can be mittigated at least
in my case by telling my router never to disconnect devices.

Hi all. When I select my wireless network on the Mac and don't use my
computer for a while, my connection drops. I have the wireless set to
remember my network. Is there some other connection I need to check? One
of my PC computers is on this network and it does not have this problem.
