Dude, shift and down arrows isn't exactly rocket science. It's not like I can successfully do it on Windows and in every other Mac application, and then get to Safari and suddenly lose my mind. I'm not saying it can't be done; I have done it before, and I expect to do it again. It can't always be done, though. There is, as you say, no point in going around on this, and it's not like I'm up nights wishing I'd never seen a Mac because of it, but it *is* buggy, at least for some of us. Even if the fix is refreshing the page (which does seem to help), or turning off images (which I have no intention of doing), that's still bugginess.
