Good evening. there is a check box under the compose item in the toolbar in mail preferences. Assuming you are using tiger go to mail preferences by pressing command-comma while in mail. press vokeys- home vokeys being control-option and this will bring you to the toolbar. Interact with it by pressing vokeys-shift-downarrow and then press vokeys-right arrow to move to the compose button and click it by pressing vokeys-spacebar. hold the vokeys and press the right arrow until you find the check box that says: "automaticly" keep right arrowing with the vokeys down and you will see the word "cc" uncheck that box and all should be well.

I looked all over to see how I caused this, and I can't find it. when I start a new message, it puts my name in the cc field. I don't know what I did to cause this, but I'd love to find it and undo what ever I did. Is there a setting for that sort of thing somewhere? If I press space on the ethecc field it blanks it out. It is getting annoying.Rejean Proulx rejean@xxxxxxxxxxxxClick on the link below to go to our homepage. http://www.icanworkthisthing.comManage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below.//www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxwith 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Webinterface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover
