Actually I do have a Mac Mini and there are speakers. They are not great so you
might want to add external speakers. I didn't have to do anything with the
sound on mine to make it play. I'm not home now or I'd look in settings. I can
later though.

iMac the speakers are in the system, but I wasn't sure for the Mac mini
