Absolutely. Every suggestion, as far as I am concerned, is valuable.
Sometimes, there is more than one answer, and often, what might not work
eliminates other potential avenues that would go astray too. I was just lucky
in that this occurred to my niece a few months ago and I recall that making
sure Mail was checked in iCloud fixed her issue too.

Well yes, but we learn something from my getting things wrong, that’s
important, right? I’ll keep suggesting things that don’t work, we’ll just
call them learning experiences. In the action adventure show I’ll be John’s
sidekick who suggests things but then he comes up with the solution. Then
we’ll all act a little surprised when one of my suggestions actually works.

Hi, John.
That seems to have taken care of it; the “all inboxes,” folder is now
listed again, and seems to contain my iCloud mail, although to be honest, I
rarely get any mail at that address; I simply wanted it that way for
completion’s sake.
Thanks for the help.

Try checking your iCloud settings. Double tap on your name at the top
of the settings screen, then double tap on, iCloud. Make sure Mail is
checked as one of the services using iCloud.

When I go back as far as the Mail app will let me, the only account
listed is Gmail. When I try to re-add it, it says it’s already enabled.
In Settings, it says my Apple ID is being used for ICloud mail. So I’m
not sure how to do what you’re suggesting. THanks, though.

Did you check the list of in boxes within the Mail app? If it is there
but not showing up that would tell you it needs to be enabled. There is
a Mailboxes back button at the very top…I just checked mine and wow I
have a crap ton of mailboxes I forgot about. You can also see if you can
access it directly from the mailboxes list, If it’s not there then a
mystery needs to be solved. You could try disabling it and re-enabling
it from your accounts setting page.

I recently accidentally deleted the Mail app from my iPhone 8. I
immediately redownloaded it, and successfully set up my Gmail account
again. However, I cannot seem to get E-mails from my ICloud.com address
to show up in my Mail inbox.
ICloud mail is already enabled on this iPhone. When I go to Settings,
and try to add the account, it says that this account is already added
to my phone. On my MacBook,, in its Mail app, ICloud mail shows up in
my “all inboxes,” folder.
What do I have to specifically do in order to enable the Mail app on my
iPhone 8, running the latest, I think it’s 1.4.1, to enable an “all
inboxes,” folder, in which my iCloud mail is also received, as well as
my Gmail?
Thanks; I hope I explained this well enough...
