no, i'm on a laptop. this is rather urgent, as i have malware and need to 
update the malware removal program, which can only be done with the jaws 
cursor.

  Hmmm, there's gotta be a way to do it, are you on a laptop?  Or an Imac?  If 
your'e on an Imac, nad have the full keyboard, I'd think you'd just be able to 
use the numpad as usual.

    Try turing VO off, and then switching to your vm, as I think for some 
reason, the capslock is one of those that is still intersepted by MacOS.   NOt 
sure  if turning off VO will allow you to use it in Fusion in your VM, or not, 
but it's worth a try.
