[macvoiceover] Keyboard dead on my air

I suddenly lust all keyboard function on my Macbook air. This means I can't
shut off VoiceOver to work on the problem with sighted assistance. Last thing I
heard was blue tooth set up assistant wanting to help me pair a keyboard. My
wife says a dialogue says it can't find a keyboard at all. Desperate here, any
thoughts?
