I've never done that. Wow, that's cool. If and when I get a Mac I'll have to try that...or maybe not...I already have enough Windows computers. lol Ok, so let's say you had mac os x and win xp pro. Ok, so you're working in xp and you load notepad and type a document and don't save it. You switch back to mac to do something. Then you switch back to Windows. Would your notepad file still be open with your unsaved document ready for more editing? Can you copy and paste text from programs running on one OS to the other OS? Sorry for all the newby questions but this idea of running two oses without restarting the computer blows my mind. lol

Yes, when you use an OS from within Fusion, Mac OS X is still running. When you press your keyboard combination you are simply putting the virtual machine in the background and putting the main OS to the front. I've done this for a while with other operating systems so I understand the concepts involved. Hope this helps.

Best reguards,

Jerry

Yes, just press and hold the control and command key for 1 second. To get back into Windows just press command G while in Fusion.

I'm sure this has been discussed here. I got rid of boot camp and started using fusion. The only way I can get Jaws keys to work is to turn off os short cuts. If I do that I can't get out of windows and back to my Mac. Is there a hot key to take you out of the windows machine?
