Hi,
I had a similar issue with my Apple wireless keyboard on my Nexus 7 tablet
running Android Lollipop (5.1.1). The only solution I found was to purchase an
app from the Google Play Store called “External Keyboard Helper”. The app cost
$2.95, and there is a setting to “never repeat” that seems to have fixed the
issue. I don’t know if this app is available for iOS, but you can search the
app store.

Hi,
I am stumped by an issue while using an Apple wireless keyboard with a new
iPhone SE. I am using the same keyboard on this iPad mini and never had this
problem.
The problem is that when connected to the iPhone the keyboard enters double
letters or numbers but not all the time. So, for example if I type in 1234
it enters 11223344.
Both the iPad mini and iPhone SE are running the latest IOS version. I've
tried various things but haven't resolved this puzzle. Any ideas or
suggestions?
Thanks
