jim and all,
i just did this to test.
in the extra menu bar arrow over to sounds
then hold down the right option key and left click the lower left corner of the
track pad and you get the menu of choices you are asking about.

Hello to the list.
On a recent tech podcast, there was mention made of using menu extras for
system volume, specifically, if you hold down the option key and left click,
you are supposed to have access to other items besides system volume, such as
input and output sources.
Would there be a way to Option Click with Voiceover?
