Hello,
I'm not really familiar with your phone. I use the N82 and when I connect the phone, I get a message about which mode to use and I set it to the USB data mode. Then the memory card shows up on the Mac with the name that I gave it. I then copy any applications to the memory card, eject the phone and then run the application to install it. For example I use Eloquence with Talks and so I just installed the Talks main application because there were no updates to Eloquence.

You need to connect to the computer through the USB and copy the main Talks file to the memory card. Then you eject the phone from the computer. Run the application and follow the prompts to install it over your already existing Talks. I don't know what speech software you're using for the phone.
