hmm, I just found out there's a pc version and have the trial. I'm surprised you didn't opt for a 30 day trial to be sure but listening to the voice samples gives a pretty good idea of what to expect. Here's a tip though incase you haven't figured it out. If you want uppercase info, set cap to tone in vo prefs. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Truong" <bnfiles@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <macvoiceover@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, April 30, 2008 5:30 PM Subject: [macvoiceover] Re: Infovox iVox 1.2 released Thanks for the info. Bought the voices and Heather sounds nice along with Lucy but I doubt Lucy is really 25 years old as suggested as you arrow through the list of voices. I'd say 45 more like it. They sure make the Mac a joy to use though. I bought the British English voices. I liked the sound of Graeme and Peter over their American male counterparts. I've relegated Alex to reading the time smile. -----Original Message----- From: macvoiceover-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:macvoiceover-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of David Poehlman Sent: Tuesday, 29 April 2008 10:37 PM To: macvoiceover@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [macvoiceover] Infovox iVox 1.2 released Hi all, you might want to check out the new functionality here. it now has a pronunciation editor and has added some new voices. http://www.assistiveware.com/pr.php#PR290408 -- Jonnie Appleseed With His Hands-On Technolog(eye)s Reducing Technologies disabilities one byte at a time > > Click on the link below to go to our homepage. > http://www.icanworkthisthing.com > > Manage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below. > //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover > > Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to > macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web > interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover > > > Click on the link below to go to our homepage. > http://www.icanworkthisthing.com > > Manage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below. > //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover > > Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to > macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web > interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover > > > Click on the link below to go to our homepage. > http://www.icanworkthisthing.com > > Manage your subscription by using the web interface on the link below. > //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover > > Users can subscribe to this list by sending email to > macvoiceover-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the Web > interface at //www.freelists.org/list/macvoiceover >
