Sorry, Brian, upon rereading your note, I see you're suggesting using avo-command-arrow keys to change the voice. My Mac is back at the shop getting its optical drive replaced after just a couple weeks of use, so I can't test this out right now. But I didn't think you could differentiate among the types of voices, i.e. the content vpoice versus the system messages (or whatever its called) voice. What I do is leave my system voice set to Alex and just change the content voice to the Russian, so that all the system messages, or other vo or system related output is still spoken in English, while document content alone is in the foreign language.
