no, we cannot dictate. typing can be tough but is possible, flick across the keyboard till you hear the letter you want and double tap.

Hi all,

I went to the Santa Clara Valley Faire Apple store with my wife to buy her an iphone. Well, we now each have one. We attended a hands on workshop on the iphone and then did a one on one session with the phone to help me get started with voiceover, zoom, and such. It was time well spent. At home we had some problems with passwords. The phones have done their syncing and we are exploring. She is far ahead of me. Voiceover and the audio commands do work but using them is like learning a new language while learning to use a computer. Hopefully I will have it mastered by the time the two year contract is up.

I attempted to send an email but found no way to successfully type a word. Is their a way to dictate or spell or dictate without the keyboard"

This iphone computer and voiceover are awesome. It took amazing people to make them so.
