I also use Safari with little problem. I use it in combination with Google
Chrome depending on my web activity, both seem to work just fine with my
MacBook Air 2019 with the latest Big Sur.
Still can’t get any mail sounds or any other system sound out of it, though...

Actually Safari is still my default, but some websites seem to work best with
Chrome for whatever reason. I've heard people say Brave is great, but haven't
