Hi everybody. I just wanted you all to know that I just sent an email to accessibility about the crash problem in the signature tab of mail preferences. I pasted in the details of the report that was automatically sent to Apple. Hope they'll be able to fix this soon as the problem has been around for a while. My mesage to accessibility is pasted here; i didn't include the crash report in sending to the list ince it's pretty long. Email sent to accessibility@xxxxxxxxx I know others have had this issue and I think I've reported it before but wanted to let you know this is still a problem. I'm running the latest version of Snow Leopard. When I go into Mail Preferences and choose signatures using voiceover, everything seems to be fine as long as I stay with "all signatures". But when I choose my specific email account (gmail in this instance) and stop interacting, either immediately or as I use vokeys, mail crashes or to put it nicely "quits unexpectedly". This usually, but not always, seems to happen after I've used vo-keys and have gone past the splitter. I've tried tabbing instead of using vokeys; sometimes this helps but often it still crashses mail. As far as I can tell, the signature tab in preferences is the only area where these crashes are happening. I don't really need a reply to this unless you have a resolution; just wanted to bring it to your attention again. I'm pasting here the copy of the details of the problem report that was sent to Apple after the last crash. Thanks for your attention to this. Overall I'm very happy about how Snow Leopard is working for me. -- Cheryl "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."
