Cheryl,
I'm glad someone is as foolish for buying an expensive keyboard as my wife
and I, haha. I can't recall if it was you or Mary that said they sort of
collect keyboard. I've got keyboards up the ying yang all over my in-house
office. Some work and some don't. The least expensive one is 15 dollars
and I used to have a 10 dollar one, too. It could be worse. You could be a
collector of coffee pot machines like my wife, Sandy, is, haha. I laugh
when people try and use my Das keyboard that comes without labeled keys, but
even when they are labeled, the print gets rubbed off eventually.
Phil.

I ordered it this morning and I ordered the clicky one instead of the soft
tactile. ! I did read that the keys lose their inscriptions pretty quickly
and don't seem to get clean well but if somebody else wants to use it, that
person can try to clean it! I try not to deliberately dirty my keyboards but
I bet none of them look great because I'm not so conscious of dirt until I
can feel it! I did so much typing from 2nd grade on that I really do miss
the sound and feel of a mechanical keyboard. Will post about what I see in
the layout when it comes Friday, since I ordered through Amazon.

Cheryl,
If you get that Das keyboard, you will have your permanent keyboard,
guaranteed, unless you don't like super tactile clicky goodness. But
then, why would you even consider paying the bucks for that one if you
didn't like those features? <smile> They really are the best thing
since the invention of the electric typewriter. <smile>
