Hi all.
I am going through all my dropbox folders and trying to make sure in the
context menus that they are listed as online only. In a few cases I think
I found a checkmark when looking at the local vs online choices in the
context menus but in most I don't see a checkmark for either local or
online only so it's hard to tell whether online has been chosen. I do
realize one can choose online only for everything in dropbox preferences;
the problem that originated my trying this step is that the Mac doesn't
acknowledge that I have less gigabytes on my drive. I am not trying to
make the folders not appear at all on my computer; I just don't want them
to be actually there but just online. In trying to do this, I went into
the individual folders to designate online only, which actually doesn't
seem to be changing the amount of space reported for my hard drive, but it
is in doing this that I realized that usually no checkmark is showing
after selecting online or local. Is there something I can do about this so
the folders will clearly show as online only. From what I've read the
problem with the Mac not acknowledging that the folders are not taking up
gigabytes doesn't in and of itself appear to be a voiceover problem.
Thanks for any help.
