Yep, I agree. I don't think there are enough people talking about GB. I've noticed maybe thirty messages about gb in the last month and that's an average of one per day.

A separate list about audio maybe, but not just about gb.

Hi. Personally I'm not sure another list is necessary. It's not like this list generates a huge amount of traffic on its own, so the additional traffic probably wouldn't be a burden for people. If people really weren't interested in garage band, they could certainly set up a mail rule to delete all messages from this list with garage band in the subject line. I worry that if we make a separate list for Garage Band, then others will start making lists for their favorite pieces of software. Then instead of one moderately high traffic list, we'll end up with many low traffic lists.
Just my thoughts for what they're worth.

Hi Sara,

The reason I am thinking about another list is that this list forinstants is for learning to use ;voiceover and some of the folks on the list have no interest in GarageBand, so, there would be a lot of extra traffic that those folks would not be interested in, or, find useful.

For most of the other sound programs there is a list for blind users. In most cases they are low traffic list, but, helpful never the less. Get my point?

Thanks for the name, we will keep it in mind.

You could call it gb access or something.
Not sure if a whole list for it is necessary though.

Hi folks,
I have spent the last few weeks looking at sound software that works in verying degrees with the MAC and Voiceover and I have chosen to devote my spare time in working with GarageBand for the following reasons.
1 I want to record mainly new music projects.
2 GarageBand has a metronome and count in.
3 Although loops are not usable at this time, you can record the synth instruments with a middi keyboard, or, from the MAC key board. 4 Garage band is really very accessible, except for a little querk or 2 and I have been in contact with Apple about those and they tell me a fix should be coming. You may have a number of things you want to do with sound, but, music is my bag so to speak. GarageBand will work fine for those of us who need a lite recording program for music and a few other things if you wish. I have already spent a good deal of time with GarageBand and I think we have a good start.

I am thinking about setting up a list for those of us who wish to learn and use GarageBand with Voiceover, do you think that this is a good idea? First of all, if we do set up a list, we would need a name. I thought that GarageBand with Voiceover mite work, however, Voiceover is also an audio term, so those who are sighted mite get the rong idea of what the list is about. Ok please give this whole thing some thought and let me know what you think.
Thanks to all.
