Yes and I have smile.  Like I said I have 8gb of ram on my mac pro and I've
allocated 2 and I've tried 4gb as well.  I've also tried combinations of 2
and 1 processors with above amounts of ram.  I also believe I tried a 1gb vm
but that wasn't a goer.

Are you able to allocate more than two GB of RAM for a given virtual  
machine on that Mac Pro?
