you keep saying the del key. Are you referring to the delete key that is the
large key above the backslash and to the right of the = key? Your DAS keyboard
has also a forward delete key in the six-pack between the main keyboard and
numeric keypad but that only works in text fields, deletes what is to the right
of the cursor instead of the left, and has nothing to do with deleting files.
You probably know all this but i thought i'd check.

TF,
Believe it or not, when I tried command plus the del key, it does nothing.
Weird. It doesn’t speak and the file remains.

Sorry I misled you, I should have said, and meant to say, Command plus the
delete key.

I thought that was the command but nothing happened when I tried it. I'll

I have duplicated a file in finder. I want to delete the copy but when
I use the del key, it does not delete. I’ve tried selecting that file and
then deleting but that does not work either. What am I overlooking?
Thanks.
