Hello,
For noncontiguous file handling, this is what I do, this is under OS X 10.7,
lion.
1. Interact with the group of files you want to work with, for example,
documents.
2. Arrow to the first file you want to highlight.
3. Press VO keys Command and space bar. Note, this might unselect the first
file, if it does, just press VO keys Command and Space Bar again to select.
4. Arrow to each file you want to highlight and repeat the instruction in step
3.
5. Press Command C to copy the selected list of files.
6. Go to the location where you either wish to copy or move.
7. If moving, press Option Command V to move.
8. If pasting, press Command V.
9. If you want to delete those selected files, after selecting them, just press
Command Delete to move to trash.
HTH.
