Yes, the link I sent said you might have to change the filename on some macs
which probably actually depends on your browser. The best thing if in doubt is
to try to open without changing the filename and then change it if necessary.

Do you have Safari 9.1, this is the most recent version I have, which now
opens the .xml file.
the earlier versions did not open this file and I used Firefox.

Hi,
This method doesn’t seem to work for me. The default Open operation opens
the file in my Xcode application. This is readable, but not a lot of fun,
given all of the tags. Using Open With and specifying Safari shows an empty
page for the particular book I’m reading. Does anybody have any alternative
suggestions, please?
Best wishes.

Hi,
If you open the file as an XML file you can read it in Safari. This is how
I read my bookshare books on my Mac.

Hi all,
I usually read Bookshare books in DAISI format on my iPhone, but I’ve got
some technical stuff to read, so would like to read it on my Mac. Can
anybody recommend a good reader application, preferably with the ability
to copy text (programming code examples) to the clipboard?
Many thanks in advance.
Best wishes.
